Wangari Muchiri Books is a digital home for author Wangari Muchiri and her publications; built to celebrate storytelling, expand visibility, and simplify book discovery. The platform introduces visitors to the author, her creative journey, and her works, while offering an intuitive way to explore and purchase eBooks. Designed with both simplicity and warmth in mind, it balances clean aesthetics with smooth functionality to create an engaging reading and buying experience.
Problem
The client wanted a platform that could represent her identity as an author, promote her books effectively, and provide readers with a seamless way to discover and purchase eBooks online.
Solution
Developed a responsive and performance-driven website using React.js, Node.js, and MySQL. The design highlights the author’s voice while guiding users effortlessly from discovery to purchase. Integrated secure eBook delivery and intuitive navigation, ensuring readers can connect with the author and access her work with ease. The final product serves as both a storytelling platform and a digital storefront that strengthens her personal brand and reader engagement.
